Our house was always filled with music. Growing up always hearing my dad practicing or my mom giving lessons has ingrained music into every day life.
College meant studying music. I followed the path that came most naturally for me. Resulting in a minor in electronic music and studio production, along with many gigs with different bands.
Sitting the the pocket is comfortable. A bass player wants to lock in solidly with the drums. Once that connection is there it is easy for the rest of the band to stretch their legs.
